When you come to our website (careercrossroadsintl.com), we may collect certain information such as date and time, your device type, browser type, operating system, website visited immediately before coming to our site, etc. This information is used in an aggregated manner to analyse how people use our site, such that we can improve our service.

b. Cookies

To improve your experience on our site, we use ‘cookies’. Cookies are an industry standard and most web sites use them. Cookies are very small files your browser stores on your computer which a website uses to identify you when you come back to the site and to store details about your use of the site. Cookies are not malicious programs that access or damage your computer. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies but you can choose to reject cookies by changing your browser settings. However, this may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website. Our website may from time to time use cookies to analyse website traffic and help us provide a better website visitor experience. In addition, cookies may be used to serve relevant ads to website visitors through third party services such as Google AdWords. These ads may appear on this website or other websites you visit.

c. Website analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, www.google.com (“Google Analytics” or “Google”). Google Analytics is a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the USA. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.

By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner described in Google’s Privacy Policy and for the purposes set out above. You can opt out of Google Analytics if you disable or refuse the cookie, disable JavaScript, or use the opt-out service provided by Google.

We use remarketing services with Google Analytics to advertise online, making adverts more relevant for users. Remarketing cookies will be used by third parties (including Google) to show our adverts on websites other than our own.

Third parties (such as Google and Facebook) will use remarketing cookies to serve more relevant ads to users based on their past visit to our website, whether those users are on our website or other websites. To opt-out of Google Remarketing and alter your ad preferences, please visit here. Remarketing cookies expire 90 days from the time the cookies are set or updated (whichever is later).

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM), which is a tag management system to manage JavaScript and HTML tags used for tracking and analytics on websites. Tags are small code elements that, among other things, are used to measure traffic and visitor behaviour: to understand the effect of online advertising and social channels; to set up remarketing and orientation towards target groups; and to test and optimise websites. GTM makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. We use GTM on our website to include the following tracking tools:

  • Google Analytics

  • Facebook Pixels

We use the “Custom Audience pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) on our website. With its help, we can keep track of what users do after they see or click on a Facebook advertisement. This enables us to monitor the effectiveness of Facebook ads for purposes of statistics and market research. Data collected in this way is anonymous to us, which means we cannot see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook can connect this data with your Facebook account and use it for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Policy which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can allow Facebook and its partners to place ads on and outside of Facebook. A cookie can also be saved on your device for these purposes.

Upon submitting your chat enquiry, you are subscribed to any future Messenger broadcasts we publish through ManyChat. These messages will appear in your Facebook Messenger inbox. You may unsubscribe at any time from these broadcasts by replying ‘stop’ to any of these broadcasts.
