A Career Journey from Supply Chain to Talent Expert
In 2014, Michael co-founded Career Crossroads International. The business focussed on being a true talent management partner, assisting individuals in advancing their careers and helping companies harness their talent potential.
Michael's expertise has earned him recognition in the industry. In May 2021, he was featured in the Australian Business Journal's prestigious list of the '10 Career Coaches to Watch in 2021.' In September 2022, he achieved another milestone, being featured in the Manage HR APAC magazine's esteemed list of the 'Top 10 Outplacement Service Providers in APAC 2022.'
Over the past few years, Michael has expanded his expertise further, earning accreditations in Everything DiSC and GeneSys Psychometric Testing. In 2020, he introduced an innovative online psychometric assessment designed to help individuals discover and enhance their soft skills. Due to its success, an expanded version was released in July 2021.
With over 18 years of experience in the dynamic world of supply chain, Michael has held key national and regional roles in Canada, the USA and Australia. His journey in Australia began in 1999, where he spent four years in the relocations and removals industry, working his way up to lead as both National and General Manager. During this time, he earned his prestigious Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation.
In 2003, Michael transitioned into the talent sector, joining a global company as a Supply Chain Consultant. Swiftly rising through the ranks, he assumed the role of Business Manager, overseeing critical functions such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Professional Services and Sales & Marketing.
His career then took an exciting turn into the realm of Executive Search, where he focused on senior-level positions spanning diverse sectors around the globe from the Middle East to Oceania. Soon, he became the General Manager of an Executive Search firm specialising in executive appointments across Asia Pacific and worldwide.
